2016 Rotary Run 5k and 10k Run / Walk and Kid’s Fun Run

March 12th, 2016 @ Scenic Dolan Lake

Description

The 2016 Hamilton County Rotary Run is scheduled to take place on March 12, 2016 at Dolan Lake. We will be having a 10k,  5k Run/Walk and Kid’s Half Mile Fun Run. Registration will begin at Catfish corner by the Dam. We will encourage / require that you park at the restaurant and walk across the bridge to catfish corner (volunteers will be on site to direct your way).  The race will start by the ranger station and will follow the road until you get to The Jerry and Bobbeye Sloan trail. You will go through the trail and then get back on the road and finish across the Dam. The race will be electronically timed by the River to River Runners.  The 10k course will start in the general vicinity and will run the course two times. *

Where Does the Money  Go?

The money raised from this race will go to support three programs.

  1. Claire Gelfius Family – 1/2 of the Proceeds
  2. Hungry Hearts – 1/4 of the Proceeds**
  3. 4-H Gift Garden – 1/4 of the Proceeds.

Times

8:00 A.M. – 9:20 A.M. – Onsite Registration (Registration will continue after that for the kid’s fun run)

 9:30 A.M. – 5k Walk

9:35 A.M. – 5k / 10k Run

10:45 A.M. – 1/2 Mile Kid’s Fun Run

11:05 A.M. – Awards

 Registration

Postmarked by March 1st, 2016 – $20 – 5K Run      -$25 – 10K Run

Postmarked After March 1st, 2016 – $25 – 5k Run       -$30 – 10K Run

Anytime – Kid’s Fun Run $15

 Awards

Overall Awards will be given to the Top Three Males and Females.

5K Run, 10K Run, and 5K Walk.

Awards will be given to the top two male and female in each age group of 5k and 10k Run

Age Groups are 9 & Under and then 5 year age groups up to 65 & Over.

All Kid’s will receive a finisher’s award

Sponsors (List will change as more come on board)
